Source Water Protection Policies, for CTC Source Protection Region, Ontario, 2011

Barrett Consulting collaborated with Kidd Consulting and Anthony Usher Planning Consultant to prepare discussion papers, present policy options and facilitate a series of workshops to assist the CTC Source Protection Committee in developing policies to protect groundwater quality.

Rouge and Humber Watershed Plans, for Toronto and Region Conservation, 2006 – 2008

Suzanne Barrett worked with scientists, technical experts, modelers and watershed stakeholders to formulate and write these watershed plans.

Waterfront strategies for Kingston, Belleville and Ajax, 2001 – 2003

Development of waterfront strategies to improve economic opportunities, environmental health and quality of life, working with municipal councils, agencies, community stakeholders and the general public, for the Waterfront Regeneration Trust. Suzanne Barrett was responsible for overall leadership and project direction, workshop facilitation and report preparation.

Oak Ridges Moraine Stewardship Strategy for the Oak Ridges Moraine Foundation, with Ron Reid of Bobolink Enterprises, 2004

Barrett Consulting and Bobolink Enterprises collaborated to undertake research, consult with stakeholders and prepare a strategy including a vision, guiding principles and stewardship actions.

Lake Ontario Greenway and Trail for Waterfront Regeneration Trust, 1992-95

Development of a comprehensive, ecosystem-based Greenway Strategy and implementation of a 300km Waterfront Trail, involving participation of 28 communities from Niagara-on-the-Lake to Kingston. On behalf of the Waterfront Regeneration Trust, Suzanne Barrett was responsible for overall leadership and project direction, management of a multi-stakeholder steering committee, coordination of six workgroups and preparation of a series of strategic and technical reports.
